Plant Oil and Feedstock Production

OHY Purpose is to produce plant oils to fill an emerging and growing need for clean renewable feedstock suitable to make renewable/biodiesel fuels. The company recently broadened its focus to include production of specialty oilseeds that may be uses for a variety of purposes.  In addition to making bio-fuels; OHY will produce premium quality oils for nutritional supplement, cooking, cosmetics, skin care and soap manufacturing.

Our nation’s current political and strategic focus is on developing green renewable bio-fuels to support energy independence. Premium quality personal care items including lotions, skin and hair care products and healthy cooking oil will also be produced from our Camellia oil.

Current OHY projects include a 100 acre southeast Georgia farm being developed to grow camellia oilseed for use as cooking oil, bio-fuels feedstock and value add personal care products. Camellia oil has been used as cooking oil and personal care products in China, Japan and other eastern cultures for hundreds of years and is comparable to olive oil in quality.

Our Mission is to serve farming communities as a sustainable development company that partner with small farmers and land owners to produce food, renewable fuels, fiber/biomass and natural fertilizer. These products are then distributed and marketed to create economic and social recovery for the community.

Strategy in preparation for our initial (southeast Georgia) oilseed venture, OHY production personnel are currently raising “free range” chickens to generate an early revenue stream for the purpose of supporting operating costs, while producing poultry liter for conversion to premium grade compost (fertilizer) for use in our oilseed plant farming operation.

The southeast Georgia free range (pastured) chicken operation currently produces and markets approximately 1,000 to 1,500 per month with expansion plans to a monthly production of 3,000 chickens per month beginning in May of 2013.
